Iberis sempervirens Snowflake also known as candytuft is a shrubby perennial forming low compact mounds of evergreen foliage which are smothered with cascades of pure white long-lasting flowers in early summer.
It’s a low maintenance popular rockery plant and performs well as a ground cover plant. Can also be planted in hanging baskets, containers or on the edge of borders.
Candytuft is easily grown in well-drained, alkaline soil in full sun. Plan to shear these plants back by about half right after they are finished flowering in order to promote new growth and a more compact growth habit.
