'Burgundy' is a semi-evergreen perennial to 80cm tall, with lance-shaped leaves and tubular magenta flowers, marked with white in the flared throat.
It's an upright, bushy, clump-forming, semi-evergreen perennial with narrowly ovate, mid-green leaves and, from midsummer to mid-autumn, upright panicles of large, tubular to bell-shaped, deep reddish-purple flowers with white styles, white stigmas and white-marked, lighter red throats.

Cultivation
Plant in fertile, well-drained soil in full sun with shelter from cold, drying winds and frost. Tolerates light shade. Protect with a dry winter mulch.
