Echinacea purpurea ‘White Swan’ bears white, daisy-like flowers and drooping petals and a large, orange-green centre, on rigid stems. It is shorter than many other echinacea varieties, so it is perfect for growing in containers or the middle of the herbaceous border. It has a long flowering season and is very good to attract pollinators.
For best results grow Echinacea purpurea ‘White Swan’ in fertile, well-drained soil in full sun. It’s ideal for growing in bold drifts in a mixed border, or with low-growing grasses in a prairie-style planting scheme.
