It is a triploid and this means it cannot fertilise itself nor can it fertilise other apple trees.Possibly the most vigorous grower. Can reach 10m or more in 40-50 years. Hard to pick as the apples can become very high if not controlled, can't be sprayed either. Slightly larger than normal orange/yellow apples with some red streaking. Used for both desserts and cooking because it becomes a nice puree.
